Knoops Cottage is built in
an attractive mountain chalet style and attached to the rear of the main mill
building. Guests staying in Knoops can barbeque and eat al-fresco on their private
terrace or relax in deckchairs either in the secluded cottage garden or, via steps
leading from their terrace, on the banks of the millpond.
The front door leads into
an open plan, double height beamed ceiling living room and kitchen. The living room is
furnished in a comfortable cottage style with a glass fronted wood burning fire, ideal
for the chillier evenings during the winter. There is both UK and German satellite TV,
together with a DVD and video player. A small library of DVDs, videos and books are
also available for guests' use. The fully equipped kitchen is divided from the main
living room by a fixed dining table and chairs.
An open plan staircase
leads via a galleried landing to the two bedrooms, bathroom and a storeroom. Set in
the eaves of the cottage, the main bedroom is a double and second is a twin. The
spacious bathroom includes a separate shower cabinet and full size bath. |
